Today, the Delta State Contributory Health Commission members, led by the Director General, Dr Ben Nkechika, visited the Health Facilities Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA) to understudy its processes and activities with a view to improving the quality of healthcare delivery in Delta State. As part of the activities lined up to make the meeting a success, the Agency made presentations on the following:
The Executive Secretary of HEFAMAA, Dr Abiola Idowu welcomed the visitors to the Agency and assured them of support that would translate to qualitative healthcare delivery to its citizens. She emphasized that the Agency is doing everything to ensure that the vision of Mr Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the health sector is achieved through effective and efficient monitoring and inspection of both public and private health facilities in the State.
The leader of the delegation in his response applauds the agency for taking the time to offer valuable information which he believes would improve the health status of its people adding that HEFAMAA is doing so much in delivering on its mandate.
