The Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA) has developed draft standards for over twenty schedules/categories of health facilities in Lagos State in collaboration with PharmAccess Foundation.
The draft standards have been grouped into seven clusters to enable seamless planning for their review by health professional associations and regulatory bodies prior to their validation. The first cluster comprising the draft standards for private clinic, private hospital, Mobile clinic, Industrial clinic, private specialist hospital and private multi-specialist hospital have been reviewed. This will be followed by the review of the second cluster of standards comprising Private Laboratories and Diagnostic facilities.
