PUBLIC HEALTH ADVISORY

The third wave of Coronavirus pandemic is imminent as evident by the increasing number of positive cases in recent days. Physicians are therefore advised to have a high index of suspicion when they attend to patients. Suspected cases should be referred immediately to Lagos State Government-approved treatment facilities namely:

Public Health Facilities

1. Mainland General Hospital Isolation Centre, Yaba
2. Gbagada General Hospital Isolation Centre, Gbagada

Private Health Facilities

1. Armoured Shield Medical Centre (Reddington Hospital Group) at 11, Joel Ogunnaike Street, GRA Ikeja.
2. Paelon Memorial Hospital at 9 Ajao Street, off Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja.

All health workers are to note that non-accredited health facilities that are testing, diagnosing and treating Covid-19 patients are to cease and desist immediately. Otherwise, they will be heavily sanctioned by the State Government.
